Suðuroy – Un-touched, amazing views and hike to Hvannhagi

Experience amazing Suðuroy on this 12 hour day tour. Suðuroy is 55-60 million years old and you see the amazing geology of the islands right by the roadside as well as the stunning sea cliffs and rocks. Suðuroy is good for those, who do not want to hike to far in order to see stunning views, you see the beautiful cliffs from the roadside. This is a true away from the crowds and off the beaten track experience.

We arrive on Suðuroy before noon and start the day with a beautiful hike to Hvannhagi an easy 3 hours hike. After the hike we have lunch in Glasstovan in Tvøroyri. From there we drive south and see Vágseiði and Eggjarnar and then we take the old mountain road to the southernmost village of the Faroe Islands Sumba. We make a photostop on the way and see Beinisvørð up close.

The last sight of the tour is Akrabyrgi and the beautiful Akrabyrgi Lighthouse.

We sail back at 18.45 and you have the option to buy dinner on the boat.

08.00 – 09.45 Pick up and drive to the harbour in Tórshavn
08.45 – 10.45 Sail to Suðuroy with beautiful views
10.45 – 18.15 Hike to Hvannhagi, Lunch and sightseeing, Vágseiði, Eggjarnar, Beinisvørð and Akrabyrgi Lighthouse
18.45 – 20.45 Sail back to Tórshavn, we have dinner on board M/S Smyril.

The price is incl. boat lunch, hiking fees and guided tour.

Min. price dkk 2.495,-/pers. min. 2 persons and max. 8 persons for a whole day 12 hours tour, transport, lunch and guide.
